It's not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is that God makes the seed grow. - 1 Corinthians 3:7

April 6 - Today at the HGH Abernethy's Farm, Marcus, Renee and Chris cleaned the greenhouse and building. Chris took some great pictures. Wonderful memories I shared with Chris about Dad. We will be finishing up planting this week at the farm.

April 4 - Rain is coming! Had to get the potatoes in the ground. Marcus, Joe, Kathy, Savannah and Renée worked in the HGH Abernethy garden after work today. Renee's Mom cut the potatoes for planting. We are still continuing Fred's legacy through our volunteers. Potatoes will be going to the Soup Kitchen this summer. Yum!
March 24 - Marcus worked on the 2 tractors, plowed with the Holland and put in rows with the International for our potatoes and onion. This is where most of our food comes from for the Hickory Soup Kitchen. We are ready to plant!
